rules & guidelines |
just like every other community we have strict rules against bullying ic or ooc or blurring of lines. we do not give warnings for people that engage in ooc harassment of any kind and will not hesitate to remove anyone that crosses this line. we are a pair of fair mods who only want to maintain a stable gpsl for those of us wishing to write in a positive, lgbtq+ setting. activity - we are putting our activity rules first because it is important that anyone who decides to join orientation understand that we are an interaction based community first and foremost. this is not a 'find a sl and psl in the shadows' community. ↪ intros must be posted within 72 hours of joining orientation. they will count as your monthly activity if you are added after the 15th of any given update cycle. if you go on hiatus before the end of the month or leave and come back within two weeks you will still owe an update for that month.setting up - we want joining orientation to be relatively pain free for everyone. we allow ooc journals without underscores and require that each character journal have one ic post and one ooc post. backdate both posts so that they do not show up on the fp. your ooc post must include crucial character information such as their full name, where they're from, their birthday and age, occupation, etc. we would like to see at the very least a 100 word blurb about their background or personality. getting removed - we find that there is no excuse to hide in customs or be inactive on the fp. you must be present weekly and not only coming around once a week to meet the minimum requirement and disappear again. your attitude should be one that is friendly and welcoming to new and current members. not everyone has to like each other ic or get along but we strongly discourage finding one or two people to befriend and stick to that. we will remove you if we feel you are not making honest attempts. other removals will occur when your flist goes out of date over one week or you do not update by the cycle's deadline. last but not least - all off-site apps are banned. |
